Both hospitals are a joke when it comes to caring for the sick and dying for their adult medical surgical unit. I had to file complaints with HCQC, Board of Nursing, Medical Board for physicians, and launch investigations due to their lack of quality care. There nurses are not assessing their patients according to the patients that we advocate for. Patients are stating that their doctors are not talking to each other to formulate the best plan to be discharged. Be careful with both facilities in regard to their staffing of nurses, CNAs, housekeeping, dietary staff, and phlebotomy staff. Ask them how many patients your nurse gas because that is your right as a patient and family member.
